Sound and Vision: Monumental Rock and Roll Photography at the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art in Laurel, Mississippi
I was invited to give a talk on the occasion of the opening of the Sound and Vision: Monumental Rock and Roll Photography exhibition at the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art in Laurel, Mississippi. It was the first show in the museum’s new and beautiful exhibitions gallery. There was a terrific turn-out. Rock and roll grew out of the south and it was a great pleasure to see many of the most significant photos of great musical artists displayed so well in southern Mississippi. Thanks to director George Bassi and everyone at the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art.
