There was a launch at the Taschen store in New York City on May 8 for Alfred Wertheimer’s Elvis and the Birth of Rock and Roll. It was an exciting evening. Among those attending were Clinton White House photographer, Bob McNeely, legendary Bob Dylan photographer Daniel Kramer, Kennedy photographer Jacques Lowes’ daughter Victoria Allen, Govinda Girl Emily Murphy, Pamela Wertheimer, and many others.

On June 5th, Anthony Mason from CBS This Morning did a wonderful story on Alfred Wertheimer and Elvis and the Birth of Rock and Roll.
