by Chris Murray on November 23, 2012

The Sound and Vision: Monumental Rock & Roll Photography exhibition opened at the Gibbes Museum on September 21st and continues through December 30th, 2012. Here are some photographs of the installation at the Gibbes. The Gibbes is one of the oldest museums in the South and the beautiful Beaux Arts style building first opened in 1905. The opening night festivities for Sound and Vision were extraordinary and our next post will detail those activities.

  1. My wife saw the Sound and Vision exhibi at the Gibbes Art Gallery in Charleston SC. She inquired at the gift shop how she could purchase a black and white photo print of John Lennon standing in a doorway and was directly to your website.

I tried several links but didn’t find one by your company that had this item for sale.

Can you give me any information how I can order the print?

    Thanks very much.

  2. Chris…………..enjoyed our chat this morning and have already contacted Olga Thorp and passed on my notes and your telephone number.

I haven’t found your email and request you to re-send it to me when at your convenience.

    Thanks very much.

    Vito
