Donovan @ The Hamilton Live

by Chris Murray on October 18, 2012

On October 6th Donovan played the amazing new music venue in downtown Washington, the Hamilton Live. He performed an extraordinary twenty-six song set… seventeen acoustic songs, and nine other hits with his full band. During the acoustic set he skillfully wove stories of his ‘journey’ through his life in music. The sold out audience relished hearing Donovan’s stories of his travels to India and his friendships with the Beatles. The audience especially enjoyed it when Donovan would take on the voices of John, George, Ringo, and Paul when telling his stories of their time together.
